who is jd?
Justin Detmers is a guy living in mid-Michigan who is: following Jesus (who died for those who want in on the action), a husband to gal way out of his league, an expecting father (in November), speaking in 3rd person, a member of Riverview, rethinking political participation, rightly accused of idolizing Conan O’Brien, padre of 2 crazy dogs, lanky, an MSU grad a few times over, a social studies teacher (on the job hunt), 26 years young, critical of capitalism/globalization, religiosity, the status quo, and the culture war. Interested in: people, theology & the study of the scriptures, gardening, severing the right-wing from the body of Christ, college basketball, the emerging church, finding a cure to Celiac disease (…it sucks going gluten free!) also; lots of music, (postmodern) philosophy, film/movies, nature, social justice and The Office.
